the qualifications required for a consequent Ph.D. program or enables the graduates to take up responsible positions in research and development in industry or research institutes. |
New as well
research-oriented education in the field of modern functional materials. The key to the development and improvement of these materials is a detailed understanding of their physical working principles, their synthesis and preparation and their characterisation. |
New since WS 15/16
The advanced chemical and physical aspects of modern materials and the transfer of skills in synthesis, development, analysis and manufacturing of functional materials are the key issues of the program Advanced Functional Materials. based on advanced practical training in actual research fields in a modern laboratory environment. |

The situation on the accommodation market in Marburg is not easy.
They may carry out special research activities or support Philipps-Universität Marburg in the areas of communications, information technologies, and foreign languages. Note: in Marburg we do not cover the entire field of functional materials. We are strong in semiconductors, molecular films, nanoparticles and the characterization and theoretical description of these materials. |

No info in its web page. DAAD is much better to find about it, even of which related with curiculum Welcome office works very well. |
Big funational material research groups
Since many years materials science is one of the research focuses of the Philipps-University. The very successful working Material Sciences Center (WZMW) was founded 25 years ago. The research strength in this area beomces visible through the currently running Collaborative Research Centre 1083 on the “Structure and Dynamics of Internal Interfaces” and also by the ongoing Research Training Group 1782 “functionalization of semiconductors”. |
Well organized information of curiculumm.
Offer good view of whole studying program. High percentage of international student. leaving cost could be cheaper than the other site “Technische” university |
